Twenty years across venues and kitchens before founding Taste Hospitality.
Rob Wilkes founded Taste Hospitality after more than twenty years working across hospitality in the UK and Australia, on both sides of the pass.
He spent over a decade with one of the UK's largest hospitality operators, progressing from entry-level through to General Manager and Head Chef across premium pub and gastropub venues, before relocating to Australia and continuing in senior operations and general management roles.
Across his career he has directed multi-site restaurant and venue operations generating over $15 million in turnover, managed teams of 100+, and built leadership pipelines that progressed junior managers into senior roles.
Taste Hospitality was founded on that operational background: every search is run by someone who has hired, managed, and led hospitality teams directly, not by a recruiter working from a job spec alone.
