A General Manager placement in hospitality is rarely just about hospitality skills. We're screening for someone who can run the commercial side of a venue, P&L, rostering, supplier relationships, as well as the floor itself.
What we look for
Full ownership of the P&L, revenue, COGS, labour and wastage, not just watching a dashboard
Experience across multiple departments: floor, kitchen, bar and events
A track record managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts directly
Has hired, managed and exited staff at a senior level, and can speak to how each of those went
Understands the difference between running a stable venue and turning one around, and has done both
